Gotta love the product name!
Apple released a handy application that lets you install MS Windows XP on your Intel-based mac.
The strategic implications seems obvious, there’s mixed opinions out there.

Software for Starving Students (SSS) is a software development project
that provides a free collection of open source and freeware software
for users of OS X. The software is intended to be a complete
collection of useful applications and utilities.
Apparently Microsoft is no longer investing in developing a mac
specific version of their Windows Media Player. Instead they now offer
a plug-in to play WM files in Apple’s Quicktime.
Well that suites me, that’s one Microsoft infestation less on my mac os x.
