Migration Successfull - away from .mac

Never have I been happy with the low bandwith of the .mac platformwhen I used iDisk. But over time I also grew unhappy with the other.mac services.
- Spam coming to my .mac email account- synchonization between computers didn’t properly work for any of thefollowing: - keychain - bookmarks [...]

Healthy mostly objective criticism of Mac OSX Leop…

Steve Job’s keynote speech this week was not top but certainly much better than some people on the net say it was.
The truly exciting new features or improvements are imho:- Time Machine- iChat Backdrops & Theatre- 64-bit top-to-bottom support- Core Animation- Voice Over improvement

Get Quicktime to support more video formats

If you want Quicktime to play videos using not-so-standard codec, theanswer is out there.
Check out Shidoshi’s thread with all the information and links you need.
A convenient side-effect is that Front Row will play all kinds of filetypes once you installed the necessary components for Quicktime.
