Get Quicktime to support more video formats
If you want Quicktime to play videos using not-so-standard codec, theanswer is out there.
Check out Shidoshi’s thread with all the information and links you need.
A convenient side-effect is that Front Row will play all kinds of filetypes once you installed the necessary components for Quicktime.
