Joost beta is available
Finally regular TV is (more or less) properly ported to the Internet. And even better, it is fully on demand. It is ad-funded but the ads are short and only one per interruption as opposed to a 5 minute commercials break.

The beta was launched on Saturday 14th April 2007. A beta is a beta so sometimes the system is buggy and it doesn’t cope well with internet connection fluctuations.
Otherwise it’s great, I like it a lot.
