Based on everything I’ve seen at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and what has been subsequently announced I believe we will see a 3G version of iPhone in the 2nd half of the year. 3G radios are getting smaller and less powerhungry, NANDs also get smaller and cheaper. Apple released firware 1.1.2 overnight for iPod Touch and iPhone.
The iPod Touch firmware has already been jailbroken, next in line iPhone.
