It will include international keyboard support, a fix for the TIFF exploit (thus rendering the jailbreakme.com solution useleee) as well as other security updates. Oh, and of course it will attempt again to brick any [...]

Why, you ask? It would appear that the SMS app is not able to properly interpret [...]

Everyone who paid $599 for the 8GB iPhone up to 14 days before the price cut is due a $100 Apple in-store credit.
Apparently Apple received hundreds of emails from iPhone buyers who were upset about the price cut. Nice move of Apple, I would say, tough luck, that’s technology for you and guess what, things [...]

Rumor has it that there will be an announcement concerning the iPhone for Europe at the Apple Expo, starting 30 September.
At yesterday’s event, SJ announced that they will stop the 4GB version and lower the price of the [...]

Blog post will be updated as the event evolves. Stay tuned, ie. reload this page every few minutes please. Newest at the top.
Fin. Now I’m torn of course between the 8GB iPhone and the 16GB iPod Touch. Hmmm. Sites updated and shops back online an hour after the event ended.

So far I have not seen much information about this event besides that it will focus on iPod related topics. The main announcement will apparently be about an iTunes feature that allows to make a ringtone for the iPhone out of a selectable part of any song purchased at the iTunes store.
I will make a [...]

First, a little update on the still long anticipated iPhone for the EU. So far we have confirmation that Apple will partner with O2 in the UK, T-Mobile in DE, Orange in France and the latest I have read was TIM in Italy.
All of these will be officially sealed after the IFA Consumer Electronics exhibition [...]
