The US have made a leap over Europe in the acceptance of e-tickets. Most airlines accept presentation of e-tickets and their barcodes via mobile phone and don’t require a print-out any more.

Based on everything I’ve seen at the GSMA Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and what has been subsequently announced I believe we will see a 3G version of iPhone in the 2nd half of the year. 3G radios are getting smaller and less powerhungry, NANDs also get smaller and cheaper. First, a little update on the still long anticipated iPhone for the EU. So far we have confirmation that Apple will partner with O2 in the UK, T-Mobile in DE, Orange in France and the latest I have read was TIM in Italy.

I want one of those! At CTIA Wireless 2007 I got to play with it a little, just a few minutes though.
Trusted sources tell me that: 1. the battery life is about 1 day with moderate use of all features, 2. the software is still fairly buggy.
